Slovenia is rich in natural water sources, which almost call for activities on or near the water. Refresh yourself with a swim in the sea, lakes, rivers or in swimming pools. Sail and surf on the water and let the wind curl your hair. Enjoy in stand-up paddle boarding or row the boat on the crystal-clear waters. Do you feel adrenaline rush? Day 1: AIRPORT LJUBLJANA – BLED

Arrival to the Ljubljana airport and meeting with our french speaking guide. Transfer to the Bled with possibility of visit Bled castle with beautiful view on lake Bled. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Bled.

Day 2: BLED – TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK CYCLING TOUR

Day fully dedicated to Bled and Triglav national Park. We suggest taking the cycling tour.

Duration  ca.5h, 54,9km

Day 3: BLED – KRANJSKA GORA - BOVEC

After the breakfast we will head towards Soča river valley, where water activities on river Soča will be organised. There is a possibility to take rafting, hydrospeed, open cayak (sit on top), river bug or bellyak, depeding of number of passengers. They also offer canoening and zip line. Dinner and overnight nea Bovec.

Day 4: BOVEC – GORIŠKA BRDA

After the breakfast departure to Goriška Brda. We will driver through beautiful valley of Soča river with beautiful green color.

The afternoon will be dedicated to the unique wine region, Goriska Brda. We'll enjoy the panoramic view and visit a wine cellar, have a wine and famous ham - ''prsut'' tasting. Dinner and overnight in Goriška Brda.

Day 5: GORIŠKA BRDA – ŠKOCJAN CAVES – BEAR WATCHING  - LJUBLJANA

In the morning departure to visit the marvelous underground caves; Skocjan Caves UNESCO.

Afterwards slowly continue to meeting point for bear watching.

Our experienced guides will take you into the depths of these forests to find and safely observe the brown bear (Ursus arctos) in his natural environment. You can chose between 2 programs: 2-3h hour program (evening) or 6-7 hour program (late afternoon and evening. Transfer to Ljubljana. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: LJUBLJANA – LOGARSKA VALLEY – ŽALEC - MARIBOR

After the breakfast departure to gorgeous Logarska Valley to admire a scenic alpine valley surrounded by high peaks. We will take a hike to Rinka water fall and enjoy few hours in this beautiful nature We recommended lunch with very tasting traditional local food. Continuation to Maribor, the second largest town in Slovenia. En route visit of Žalec and famous beer fountain with tasting of local beers. Afterwards continuation to Maribor, the second largest town in Slovenia. Walk in the old town centre and visit of the oldest grapevine in the world. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day 7: MARIBOR - LJUBLJANA

After the breakfast visit of the neighboring hill of Pohorje a well known Slovenian ski resort. We suggest taking a hike or renting a downhill bike and enjoying great tracks. Here on Pohorje also downhill World cup finds place. Return to Ljubljana. Panoramic vistit. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 8: LJUBLJANA

After the breakfast guided walking visit of the old-town centre; we’ll admire the square of the greatest Slovene poet France Preseren, typical architecture of the secession style, Franciscan’s church, old food-market place, cathedral, Dragon’s bridge… If the time allows we also make a visit of the Ljubljana castle, which is located on top of a hill with beautiful view on Ljubljana. Free time in Ljubljana and transfer to Ljubljana airport.
